The Village of Loomis will no longer maintain the recycling bin located behind the Bridal Isle. The Village has experienced too much illegal trash in the bins as well as plastic and other trash placed beside the bin. Also, the usage of the bin has dropped significantly in the past year and the expense and time involved to maintain the bin is no longer feasible. As soon as the bin is picked up by Shaben Sanitation to be taken to the Holdrege landfill, it will not be placed back in the Village.
